There’s so much to do and see in Dublin’s charming, lively city center, from the grandeur of Trinity College Dublin to the serenity of St. Stephen’s Green. Check out the amazing National Gallery, marvel at Christchurch Cathedral, or walk around Dublin Castle. Dublin Zoo is located in the beautiful, enormous, and historic Phoenix Park in the west of the city. This park itself is well worth a visit, one of the biggest urban parks in Europe and a truly gorgeous, wild place filled with deer and forest. O’Connell Street Lower is the southern side of the main street in Dublin, right beside O’Connell Bridge over the Liffey. Originally named Sackville Street, it was renamed after Irish Independence to honor Daniel O’Connell, who campaigned and succeeded in winning voting rights for Irish Catholics. It’s also one of Dublin's busiest and most central spots and a good place to store some bags if you need to!

There are a few different tourist information and travel office options around Dublin, but the one located on College Green is especially handy. Right in the center of town beside Trinity College and Grafton Street, you can get plenty of tourist information and book tours here. Connolly Station is located on Amiens Street in the North Inner City and is one of Dublin’s busiest stations. It provides transport links around the whole greater Dublin area and the wider country. Many trips taken on the train will begin or end at Connolly Station, so if you’re nearby and need to store some bags, this is a good spot!

Located in the west of the city beside the River Liffey, Heuston Station (named after Irish Revolutionary hero Sean Heuston) is a beautiful train station that provides services to Cork, Limerick, Galway, and other regional Irish towns, especially in the south and west. Dublin Airport is Ireland’s busiest airport and where you’re most likely to be flying into if you visit from abroad. It has two state-of-the-art, modern Terminal buildings and is an airport with many great places to eat and shop.
