Also called Humberto Delgado, Lisbon ANA is located 7 km northeast of the Lisbon center. It is known as TAP Air Portugal’s main hub and first opened in 1942. As Portugal was a neutral country during World War II, it didn’t serve as a military base during the war but was somewhere from many people were smuggled into or out of Europe. Passengers with larger bags have to use Aerobuses to the downtown area, which can be found in Terminals 1 and 2 and run from 7.30 am to 11 pm. Passengers flying in and out can enjoy a wide range of amenities, including numerous restaurants, cafes, and shops, as well as various shops.
