Nantes is one of the 7 host cities for the Olympic football events at the 2024 Games. The Beaujoire stadium, which has a capacity of 37,000, was chosen over Toulouse's Stadium. Nicknamed the "stade des Canaris" (the nickname given to the players of FC Nantes), it has already hosted several matches during the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

In addition to the many bars and restaurants in Nantes that will be broadcasting the sporting events, an area dedicated to the Olympic Games in Nantes will be open from 26 July to 11 August 2024. Known as Club 24, this fan zone in Nantes will be open to all for free and set up on the eastern side of Ile Feydeau, in an area that includes Feydball (a football pitch located on the Carré Feydeau lawn opposite the Bouffay tram stop) and Parvis Neptune.
As well as showing the events on the big screen, Club 24 will be hosting a host of sporting and cultural events based around sport and parasport.
